What we are

Sewer Repair KC is a sewer line specialty service for homeowners on both sides of the state line. We do camera inspections, hydro jetting, cured-in-place lining, pipe bursting and open-cut replacement of the lateral from the house to the main. We do not do faucets, water heaters or remodels. A crew that only works on sewer lines has seen more of them than one that does everything, and that shows up in the diagnosis.

How we work

1. The camera goes in first. Every job. We do not quote from the surface, from a description on the phone, or from another contractor's guess. The inspection is $249 and credited to any repair.
2. You watch the footage. With us, on the monitor, with each defect pointed out and its distance and depth marked on the lawn. You keep the recording.
3. You get a written price by the foot for every method that fits the pipe. Lining, bursting, spot repair, excavation. Including permit and restoration. Valid 30 days.
4. We recommend the least invasive method that will actually work, and we say plainly when the least invasive one will not. A liner on a belly is a liner we have to come back and dig out. We would rather dig once.
5. The invoice matches the quote. If we open the ground and find something the camera could not show, we stop and call before the number changes.

Why Kansas City specifically

Because the pipe here is particular. The metro's older neighborhoods drain through vitrified clay in short sections under trees planted before the war; the postwar ring has cast iron under the slab; the newer suburbs have PVC with settling bellies; and the bluffs above the rivers put mains 12 feet down. Knowing what a 1925 Brookside lateral looks like on camera before the camera goes in, and what a 1998 Lee's Summit one looks like, is most of the job.
